Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy is part of Terms of Use. Therefore, accessing and/or using services provided by this website you agree with this policy. If you disagree with this policy you should not visit and/or use this service.

 

1. Important note for personalized orders

Every wearable Temposcopium available on this website is finished off once you let me know the wrist measure you need you Temposcopium to be for. To speed up shipping process I highly recommend to add the measure note directly during checkout in the order note. This will reduce the time requested for an email exchange from me and you to know the measure you need. If you have question about how to measure your wrist size, please refer to the FAQ page.

 

2. Processing time

Orders of ready made items tipically ship within 5 business days. Commissioned works will take up to 4 weeks to be ready for shipment depending on the design commissioned. By the way, once purchased, your order will be placed in a queue and will be realized and shipped out in the shortest time possible. If you have a request for a specific delivery date for commissioned work please specify this prior to purchase. You can find more information about how to commission me a work in the FAQ page.

 

3. Packaging

Your item will be double packed in a packaging which also serves as a gift wrap then in an envelope for shipping around the world. I do my best to make packaging as plastic-free as possible, so I will use recycled material and cardboard for protecting your item during shipping.

Please note that in an effort to make my packages as eco-friendly as possible I will not include a paper invoice into your package, as you should receive a digital invoice as soon as you place your order. If you need a paper invoice too please be sure to send a note to [email protected] as soon as you make your purchase.

 

4. Shipping cost

You can easily calculate shipping cost for your country during the checkout process. Just add your beloved item into your bag, find your country into the dropdown menu and a shipping estimation will appear in the order total estimation.

Please bear in mind that the shipping costs are only estimates and cover the postage, insurance and packaging materials for your order.

Isla del Se is not responsible for packages shipped to the wrong address if the buyer supplied it. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information is correct before completing checkout.  If you think you have made a mistake and you have not received a shipping notification yet, please contact me at [email protected] as soon as possible so shipping information can be adjusted before the package is sent.

In the event of a package returned to sender the buyer is responsible for fees associated with re-sending the package.

Also, due to the tracked nature of the shipping, you will be asked to sign your parcel upon delivery. If you are unable to take your parcel from the courier you could incur in additional costs Isla del Se is not responsible for.

 

5. Shipping destinations

I am here to bring Isla del Se symbols to the world and I would be very happy to spread them literally worldwide! So, if you are an international customer you are more than welcome. Here’s a few things you should know:
• Additional customs and import taxes or fees may apply to your international order. I am not able to estimate what fees may be associated with your international order, as they vary widely by country and will be assessed by customer’s local Customs Office. If you have questions, the best contact in this case is your local Customs Office for more accurate information. There is no way to avoid paying import duties and fees if your parcel request them; I please you to understand I cannot mark parcels as gifts, I have to classify the parcel content as merchandise and declare its exact value on customs forms.
• I did my best to choose a courier able to get to almost everywhere in the world. Anyway if during checkout your country appears to be not covered by any shipping service write me at [email protected] and I will do my best to find a shipping solution for your homeland too.

 

6. Shipping courier

I currently ship with the following Tracked Parcel Services:

Italia: SDA

Europe and rest of the world: UPS

I use a shipping service to manage my shipping processes. After your order is shipped out you should receive an email contening your tracking number and shipping information from ESITE S.R.L. (spedire.com) if not directly from the courier of your order.

 

7. Shipping time

Italia: SDA // consegna in 24-48 ore
Rest of the world: UPS // delivery time varies  according to the destination country. It could take from 1 up to 8 weeks for international destinations.
Before/after Christmas there can be up to 3 weeks of delays for deliveries.
These delivery times are only estimates. International mail is affected by many circumstances beyond the control of Isla del Se, including, but not limited to, custom delays, long distances, weather and local/foreign holidays. Please understand that once a package has been shipped, transit and delivery times are beyond the control of Isla del Se. Please be patient and understand that international packages may take several weeks to arrive, but are very rarely completely lost.

 

8. Shipping Insurance

Shipping cost includes insurance for every destination to cover lost or damaged parcels. Your parcel is in safe hands during trasport, of course, but in the unlikely case your item is not delivered or the courier delivers you a damaged package, you should not refuse delivery but sign it as SUBJECT TO CONTROL, describing the parcel condition upon delivery; you must then notify me within 24 hours about your issue, with a clear description about the parcel condition. I please you to understand that fully signed delivery or late notification will not be taken into consideration from the insurance service.

 

9. Returns

European customers have the right to return products purchased online within 14 days. If you are not happy with your purchase or receive a damaged item you could return it in its original package, covering the returning shipping costs. You are responsible for the shipping service chosen for returning your order. Refunds will be processed once the returned goods are delivered and after having checked their original conditions.

Returns are not accepted for commissioned works, as all custom orders are final sales.
